The Foundation "Solidarity Fund for Foreign
Students in Zurich" can support foreign students
who are regularly enrolled and studying for their first degree at ETH Zurich
or the University
of Zurich with a monthly contribution
to the study costs. The scholarship is a maximum of CHF 750 per month over a period of no more than eight semesters.
To be eligible to apply, Bachelor students need to have passed their first-year examinations.
In case of admission to an advanced semester of a Bachelor programme there is a qualifying period of two semesters.
Students must obtain a minimum of 40 credits per two semesters to have their scholarship extended to further semesters.
Students
who complete their Master studies at ETH Zurich only
and have not acquired their Bachelor
degree at a Swiss university are not eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Application deadlines:
15 August for scholarship applications for the following Autumn Semester.
1 February for scholarship applications for the following Spring Semester.
