Graduates of Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschulen)

… are eligible for admission to numerous consecutive Master's degree programmes, but not  to all Master's degree programmes (e.g. not to Biology, Physics or Management, Technology and Economics), provided they have completed their Bachelor's degree in the corresponding discipline (‘gleiche Studienrichtung’, même branche d’études) according to the official list.

… are not eligible for admission to some specialised Master's degree programmes (e.g. not to Medicinal and Industrial Pharmaceutical Sciences).

A final grade of at least 5 (Swiss grading system) or "excellent" (other grading systems) in the Bachelor's degree programme is always a prerequisite for admission. If the Bachelor's degree programme has not yet been completed at the time of application, evidence of the necessary final grade must be submitted before the beginning of studies at ETH Zurich.

They have to acquire a total of 40 - 60 additional ECTS credits from the respective ETH Zurich Bachelor's degree programme during their Master studies. These additional courses will be determined during the admissions procedure and communicated in the admission letter. They cannot be taken before enrolment in the ETH Master's degree programme.
