Pursuant to an official agreement between ETH Zurich and the University of Bern, students fully enrolled for the semester in the UBE Master’s degree programme in Climate Science may also attend courses at ETH Zurich which are connected with their study programmes and undertake the corresponding performance assessments.
In order to do so they must register at ETH Zurich as Special Students.
In each case please fill out the registration form (PDF, 78 kB) in full and submit it at the latest by the end of the first semester week to the programme coordinator of the ETH Institute for Atmospheric and Climate Science by post or (in scanned form) by e-mail (see form for addresses).
Registration opens for the Spring Semester on 1 January and for the Autumn Semester on 1 August.
The ETH Zurich Registrar’s Office will confirm your registration and first-time/post-break semester enrolment by post.
Registration as a Special Student, attendance of ETHZ courses and the sitting of examinations are free of charge for students of the UBE Master’s degree programme in Climate Science.
Please see the information sheet for Special Students (PDF, 72 kB) for further information on registering as a Special Student:
