Hans Ziegler Fund - Mountain Cabin

ETH researchers have the possibility to spend time during summer month abroad in the Glen Haven cabin in Boulder, Colorado (USA), which is part of the Hans Ziegler Fund. They will also receive a scholarship covering the better part of their travelling expenses (flight, transfer).

The Hans Ziegler Fund supports talented and motivated researchers and students at ETH Zurich, as a tribute to the work of Prof Dr Hans Ziegler (1910-1985), which is documented at www.hansziegler.com.

Prof Dr Hans Ziegler came to the ETH in 1942 and was head of the Center of Mechanics until 1977. A researcher and teacher, he was regarded as a role model and innovator by his students and the society. In his lifetime he used his "mountain cabin" as a retreat and a place to study.
