Students and doctoral candidates who have studied at ETH Zurich for at least two semesters, may apply for financial support in the form of a student loan up to a total amount of CHF 6,000. A loan application may be submitted at any time. Application forms are available from the Scholarship Office.

Short-term loans of up to CHF 1,500 may be granted from as early as the first semester in order to help students overcome temporary financial difficulties. Applications must be submitted by way of letter setting out the applicant’s monthly budget.
