Teaching rooms for lectures

First priority for the use of Rectorate rooms is given to teaching.

Room reservations for courses held during the semester are mostly made by the departmental scheduling coordinators. During the scheduling of the semester programme, they may reserve seminar rooms up to the time of publication of the course catalogue. All other reservations must be referred to the Room and Course Scheduling Office.

Once the course catalogue has been published, room reservations for courses, the dates of which were not set at the time of the course scheduling process, and one-off events may be sent to the Room and Course Scheduling Office

Depending on the date(s) in question, reservations for one-off events may be made shortly before or after the semester commences.

Please include the following details in your reservation enquiry:

• course: number, type and title
• lecturer’s name
• weekday and time
• location and room size (no. of seats)
• name and contact address of the person placing the enquiry

To assist in maximising room availability at ETH, lecturers are requested to inform the Room and Course Scheduling Office about unused seminar rooms by completing the form “Return of unused teaching rooms".
