Visiting professors
Visiting professors carry out teaching and research on the invitation of a professor at ETH Zurich.
The invitation must be approved by the inviting professor’s department (departmental conference) and thereafter forwarded to the Administration Academc Affairs with the corresponding application form.
An application for a visiting professorship should be
made two semesters in advance:
- by 30 June of the previous year, for the spring semester,
- by 31 December of the previous year, for the autumn semester.
Invitations to visiting professors are submitted to the Rector for approval.
