Course units

The course unit view is a list of course units within the semester programme structure. It serves as an overview from where you can call up the list of catalogue data, the list of courses or the course unit details displaying further information on examination details.

Catalogue data

The page is an extended view of the page course units containing the respective catalogue data in English or the original language according to the chosen application language. The information in the field "Abstract" is indicated in the diploma supplement as part of the final degree.

Courses

The page is an extended view of the page course units containing the respective courses. Course title and course type are only shown in the original language. All instances of offered courses are indicated.

Language: Title of Course Unit(s) by accessing from myStudies

Please note that the title of the course unit(s) in the list of courses in myStudies is always in the original language, i.e., the language in which the course is taught.

When you click on the course title in myStudies to see the full course details, you will in fact access Course Catalogue using the same language as the one you selected when you logged onto myStudies.

In other words, if you log on in myStudies in German, then the title is also in German; if you log on in English, then the shown title in Course Catalogue is in English (if it has been translated), even if the shown title in myStudies is in German. If a translation is not available, it will appear on both myStudies and Course Catalogue in German.

Black square (■)

If a black square (■) is displayed after the title, special students and auditors need a special permission from the lecturer/s.
