myStudies: Login

Registration is by using the nethz name and password. If there are problems connected with the account, please contact the Service Desk, Tel. +41 44 632 77 77. Please remember and report the error message on the login page.

The Single Sign-On process requires high security standards. If other people use this computer, remember to execute 3 steps every time you leave the computer:

1. Use the logout link to quit myStudies

2. Delete all cookies in your browser

3. Close all browser windows  >> More infos

People granted with a Rectorate or Support role can log-in on behalf of other people.

Should you have questions about the application itself or about the implemented processes:

• Please first have a look at the help. In the header of every page of myStudies you find a link "Help" which guides you directly to the relevant themes.
• Alternatively you may send a request directly to the support group in charge for myStudies by using the link "Contact" on every page of myStudies.

Access to matriculations that are no longer active or after withdrawal

As a basic principle, access to myStudies is possible as long as the all-embracing nethz login is valid.

In addition, access to old matriculations (e.g. to the data of a completed Bachelor enrolment with a current enrolment for a Master programme) remains possible for a further six months after withdrawal.

If you need access at a later date to a transcript of records or study overview/course attendance confirmation sheet, for example, please contact the Registrar’s Office (or doctoral students contact the Doctoral Administration Office, exchange students (“Incomings”) contact the Student Exchange Office).

Registering as Special Student or Auditor

• Special Students: Students and doctoral students who are matriculated at a univesity other than ETH Zurich and who want to attend specific courses at ETH Zurich for their studies, can register online, if their home university is listed here. Presently, only students from the University of Zurich are able to register via SWITCHaai, the authorization and authentication platform of the Swiss universities.
  

• Auditors are persons who  wish to attend specific courses at ETH Zurich. Online registration is enabled for ETH members (employees and lecturers) only. 
  
• Other persons interested in taking ETH courses should register at the Registrar’s Office, ETH Zurich.

ETH Zurich students cannot register as auditors.
