The eDoz academic application supports the lecturers at ETH Zurich with the administrative tasks connected with their teaching.

The functionality of eDoz is devided in the following groups:

Login Profile

View the latest information and check your address data.

Communication / Lists

Communicate directly by e-mail with students who have enrolled for your course units or registered for examinations. You have also access to comunicate with your doctoral students. Export detailed lists containing additional useful information.

Scheduling

Confirm or correct details of your courses and performance assessments during the scheduling process. Check or enter descriptions of your course units.

Provide learning material for the purpose of educational support.

Grades / Results

Enter the results of performance assessments for students on programmes conforming to ECTS (Bachelor, Master, Exchange students, some Doctoral and MAS programs) and draw up lists for the Administration Offices.

Enter the grades for Qualifying Exam of Doctoral Students.

Session Exam Scheduling

The planning of oral session examinations is based on the information you provide in the date questionnaire. On the examination schedule you can see all the necessary information about oral and/or written session examinations.

Admission to Exams

Enter the necessary confirmations of course attendance if you have defined a course unit as requiring confirmation of course attendance. For these students, confirmation of course attendance does not count as the result of a performance assessment.

For students on the “old” system (diploma degree courses that are being discontinued, doctoral students, most continuing education courses), individual ETH credits can be entered here as well as the confirmation of course attendance – which may be a certificate showing successful completion of the course unit.

Authorise other people to deputise for you in certain roles.
