eDoz: Grades / Results

Functions "Grades" and "Semester Performances"

These functions are exclusively used to enter the grades or results (passed/not passed) of performance assessments and submit them directly to the responsible Study Administration Offices.

Please note:

• Examination subjects and students are only shown in these lists, if there are (still) results existing to be submitted.
• If there are no registrations exististing or if all results are decreed by the Administration Offices the examination subject is not shown here (anymore).
• If the Adminstration Offices enter results directly, the corresponding students are not shown anymore in the list.
• Please refer to the function "Communication / Lists " > "Examination Registrations" to see the complete lists of examination subjects, all registered students and the definitive results (where they have to be decreed to be shown).

"Grades" and "Semester Performances"

The functions for

• session or end-of-semester examinations (“Grades”) and
• graded or ungraded semester performances (“Semester Performances”)

are principally the same but there must exist explicit registrations for session or end-of-semester examinations - details see below.

Deadlines

The grades for session and/or end-of-semester examinations usually have to be submitted by a fixed date latest. This date is set and communicated directly by the Administration Offices. This is the main reason why delivery for session and/or end-of-semester examinations with eDoz is possible for just one examination session or semester.

Please report the results of semester performances as soon as possible.

Registered performance assessments (“Grades”)

Session and end-of-semester examinations must be registered centrally. The students use myStudies to register for these examinations.

The list of enrolments ("Communication / Lists" > "Course Units") and the list to enter the results (students registered to the exam) do not necessarily have to identical.

Semester performances

There is no central registration for the purpose of performance assessment regarding semester performances. The lists shown here (grades or passed/not passed) correspond to the list of enrolments ("Communication / Lists" > "Course Units") for that semester.

Please note that you should only deliver results for students who really joined a performance assessment. Therefore it may happen that there are remaining students with no results on these lists.

Display of results and credit points in myStudies

The results and credit points will be shown to the students within myStudies as soon as they are decreed by the responsible study administration. The students will be informed about automatically by email.
