Confirmations of course attendance only have to be issued (received/not
received) if the subject is defined as requiring confirmation of course
attendance and there are therefore certain conditions for taking that the
examination.
Important: In these cases it is important to note the deadlines for checking
confirmations of course attendance, about which you will be informed by the
Administration Offices. In this case, “Not received” means that students are
excluded by the Administration Offices from taking the examination.
The list of confirmations of course attendance is subdivided into students from ungraded courses with ECTS credits and students from courses without ECTS credits.
Confirmations of course attendance can be amended by lecturers at any time and – unlike the results of performance assessments – are not sent in writing.
Lecturers requiring a teaching assignment only have access to their course unit/course if the teaching assignment has been applied for from the Rectorate by the relevant department.
The same rule applies to publication in the Course Catalogue.
In this case, contact the person in your department who is responsible for teaching assignments or contact the Room and Course Scheduling at the Rectorate directly.
This includes all students whose courses are run in accordance with Programme Regulations conforming to ECTS. At present these are mainly:
For programmes conforming to ECTS, the certificate of course attendance does not count as the result of a performance assessment. This requires a grade or passed/not passed, which you enter using the performance assessment functions.

Here the confirmation of course attendance can have the significance of a performance assessment that has been passed or not passed.
Please note that “Not received” means that a performance assessment was completed with an unsatisfactory result.
In addition, any values can be entered for ETH credits. These are not decreed individually by the Administration Offices.
Students can delete their enrolments, provided no confirmation of course
attendance has been issued and/or – for students with ETH credits – no credits
have been entered.
In addition, for students with ECTS credits, they must not have registered for
an examination or have a performance assessment already decreed.
