Important terms

This application supports the entire admissions process, from preliminary application, through application to matriculation. It acts as a hub between prospective students, the admissions office, course coordinators and admissions committees.

For prospective students, (https://www.eapply.ethz.ch) eApply provides a preliminary application form and an application form for admission to one of the Master programmes, as well as a registration form for continuing education Master programmes.

The application data is made available to internal offices electronically by a back-office application (Contact Manager, https://admin.applyweb.com/). There they process the applications and add the necessary information for the relevant category. Contact Manager is the cooperation platform. It supports the workflow, by sending automatically generated e-mails to the relevant parties when there is a change of status. Further information is added systematically to application data in Contact Manager until a decision on acceptance has been made.

There are technical solutions for online payments, automatic backups and a data interface with the teaching database.
